Loans are available from Uncle Buck up to £1,000, all subject to creditworthiness and affordability checks. The first time borrowing limit for new customers is £500, existing customers may apply to borrow up to £1,000
To check the cost of your loan and how much you will need to repay, use our loan calculator and select the amount you wish to apply for. Choose which term to repay over and your monthly repayment date (according to when you get paid) and you will be presented with your repayment schedule showing how much each instalment will cost you and the total that is due to be repaid before you apply.
As an example, if you borrow £100 over six months (180 days) you will have repaid a total of £198.63 at the end of the 6 repayments if you have made each repayment on time.
Exact figures are provided in your loan documentation and you should read and consider all the information carefully to ensure the loan is suitable for your needs.
Please note this is a rate capped product, which means:
- We will not charge you more than 0.8% interest per day on the outstanding principal.
- We will not charge you more than £15.00 in total in default fees.
- If you do not repay on time, you will not be required to repay in total more than twice the amount you borrow. For example, if you borrow £100.00 you will not be required to pay back more than £200.00 in capital, interest and charges.
If our collection attempt is declined by your bank we will do our best to contact you and resolve the situation as soon as we are aware that your payment has failed. If we cannot collect the money you owe us on the repayment date, a default charge of £15.00 may be charged on the first missed instalment and applied to your account if your payment is still outstanding after 3 days. In addition, if your loan is in arrears and you do not communicate with us, default interest may also be applied subject to the application of the rate cap.
