Here at Uncle Buck, we are not only committed to and take pride in lending responsibly and being fair to each and every one of our customers, we also care deeply for and try to give a little something back to the community on a regular basis.
The Things we do for Charity
As such, we regularly organise charity events, including ‘dress down days’ or ‘specific clothing days’ (where all staff members wear specific items of clothing, like football or rugby shirts; pink clothes or Christmas jumpers, for example). Some of our events also include raffles (like events held in aid of ‘Save the Children’ or ‘Comic Relief’, for instance).
How we select Charities for Donations
Every time we prepare to make a donation, each staff member nominates a charity. The nominated charities are typically chosen by said staff members for personal reasons. Two to four of the nominated charities are then selected randomly to receive the donations to be made.
